MISSION TRIP
We offer one to two international missions trips per year. Details can be found on our events page and/or calendar. HMI will:
1. Assist you in acquiring all of the necessary documents for foreign travel.
2. Make sure you are knowledgeable about the country/culture you will be visiting.
3. Share with you the ministry activities we will be involved in.
4. Set aside a day to enjoy the foreign culture before returning home.

We had an amazing time of ministry last week in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. We want to start by saying thank you to each of you that participated in this mission trip with us. The trip would not have been possible without your prayers, donations, and overall support. Though you may not have physically been there, each of you had a part as an extension of our team. We felt God's presence from travel time, to ministry on the streets, to home visits and the roof replacement project, to some fun down time in the open market, God's presence was strongly felt. God bless you and thank you for being a part of our team!

Durham, NC has seen an increase in the homeless population over the last two years. While visiting on 12/13/2025 - 12/15/2025 temperatures where in the teens! We are partnering with Grace Church of Durham to raise money for coats and blankets to aid in serving this community this year.

Food basket day was a great success! The goal for Club Nathan was 100 food baskets. New Life of Memphis Outreach department, Men's Fraternity and HMI donated the last 25 baskets to complete the goal!

Chaunna and Kristen came together to assist in adding volunteers for youth night, as well as volunteers and donations for the food baskets. Luke 6:38, "Give, and it shall be given unto you;..."
